Due to the demand of a smaller dwelling in the same area we have managed to convert an existing building into a spacious cosy house sleeping 2-4people (also a bed setee available on request). The house is ideal to use with the big house for larger groups or on it’s own for couples and small families.

It is a light filled haven with fantastic views to Skye and Rassay.

Plockton and surrounding area
Achnandarach is a small hamlet just outside Plockton. Plockton is a National Trust conservation village,with a picturesque harbour, many small shops, galleries, and plenty of fabulous places to eat. This picturesque settlement on the shores of Loch Carron faces the East. It is away from the prevailing winds which together with the North Atlantic drift gives it a mild climate allowing palm trees and cabbage plants native to New Zealand to grow!

Artists and photographers are drawn to the area from all over the world. Kyle of Lochalsh is a 40 minute drive and has many fine restaurants, hotels, sea trips, shops, banks and tourist information centre. Many visitors use Parth Galen as a base to explore the Isle of Skye, with its rich history and incomparable Cuillin mountain range.
